This is the big one and will give guests an overview of what Marlborough is about.
Starting out after breakfast we will visit Auntsfield Vineyard , home of the oldest Barrel room in the district. This takes you back to the beginnings of wine growing in Marlborough and a chance for tasting of their stunning wines.
After Auntsfield we will have time to stop at one of our favourites – Bladen , before making our way to Havelock, the Green Lip Mussell capital of the world and a light lunch at the Slip Inn at the marina. While in Havelock those who are interested in Maori art can visit the Shark Net Gallery.
Escape to Marlborough
The tour will then take you over the beautiful Queen Charlotte Drive with stunning views of the Sounds and hundreds of bays to the seaside town of Picton. Picton has a lovely promenade and is a popular holiday spot for Kiwis, tourists and fishers/divers.
On the return drive to Blenheim we will stop at Johanneshof Cellars for wine tasting and a look at the underground cellars.
Back in Blenheim there may still be time to visit The Makana Chocolate Factory, the iconic Cloudy Bay Vineyard or even a beer tasting at one of the Boutique breweries in our area.ost
